"A common man marvels at uncommon things. A wise man marvels at the commonplace." ~Confucius

At its core, Easyday was founded as our own little Amazonification Resistance Movement on the crazy idea that there's a meaningful return on investment (in financial, human, environmental, biopsychosocial, and other terms) to be had over the course of your life by simply consuming fewer, better things.

Instead of buying 4x 6-piece drinkware sets at a chain retailer because they're on clearance, buy four incredible quality mugs that have an origin story, support an artisan, will last you a decade, and that you're downright hyped to drink out of each morning. Hell, buy one mug. Buy this mug.

Elevate the Everyday ☕️

Nowhere is our design philosophy - of adding small details for you to discover over time, trading quantity for quality, reasserting meaning in the ordinary + celebrating good things consumed slowly - more present than in projects like this first edition Millcreek 1-50 collaboration between Easyday x LE Ceramics.

Designed, thrown, glazed, engraved, and fired end-to-end, by hand, by a single artist in Salt Lake City, these puppies are the Platonic Ideal of a coffee mug if we've ever seen one.

Made in (and of) the Mountains

Hewn from a red dirt clay, each Millcreek 1-50 is a heavyweight brick of a vessel that feels like it was chipped straight out of Millcreek Canyon out here in Salt Lake City (LE Ceramics is working on a project to make pottery out of every rock type found naturally in Utah...story for another time). The clay shows up as a deep, speckled brown post-firing, and remains exposed on the bottom 1/4 of the mug and on the single 3-Bolt sidewall design. Which looks so hard against the double coat of matte black glazing.

Sizing is oversized, holding 16 oz. of whatever you're pourin'. Dimensions are ~4.5" high x ~3" in diameter, which is our all-time Goldilocks configuration because it's a fat mug (none of that 12 oz. sissy ish) yet remains palmable and fits the clearance of the typical espresso machine or coffee maker.

Because they're truly handmade, every Millcreek Mug is a little different. Which means the one you receive will be truly yours. Unique and special just like you 🤗

Oh, and we're only releasing 50 of them. With the unit number (1-50) hand-engraved on the bottom along with a first edition Easyday x LE Ceramics collaborative stamp. How's that for quality > quantity.

The exposed clay shows up as a deep, textured sand color post-firing...and looks so hard against the clean double coat of matte black glaze 🔥
